Twenty Ideas Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information Twenty Ideas collects through twentyideas.com, why we collect it, who helps us handle it and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it plain and specific. If something is unclear, please ask us.
Who we are
“Twenty Ideas,” “we” and “us” mean Twenty Ideas Inc., 590 Pearl St., Suite 212, Eugene, OR 97401, USA.
This policy covers this website and the messages you send us through it. It does not cover:
- software we build for clients, which follows our agreements with those clients;
- DevSwarm, which is a product of our sibling company 21st Idea, Inc. and has its own terms and privacy policy;
- other websites we link to, such as Calendly, Clutch or LinkedIn, which have their own policies.
Our Thailand affiliate, Twenty Ideas (Thailand) Limited, is a separate company that works with us under a services agreement.
Browsing this website
We use Google Analytics to understand how this website is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and whether they reach the contact or newsletter forms. Google Analytics sets its own cookies on this website and receives technical information such as your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you view. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we never send it anything you type into a form. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load. This website does not use advertising pixels or social media plugins, and our own pages do not otherwise set cookies or store information in your browser. The HiVE Shift page offers an optional Calendly calendar, which loads only when you choose to open it. Calendly then receives technical information from your browser and may use cookies or browser storage under its own privacy practices.
Like any website, our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), processes technical information to deliver pages to you: your IP address, the page you request, the time, and your browser’s standard request details. We use this to deliver and protect the site, not to build profiles of visitors or to advertise to you.
When you follow a link to another website, such as our Calendly booking page, Clutch reviews or LinkedIn, that website’s own privacy practices apply.
When you contact us
Our contact form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also tell us your organization, the kind of help you are looking for, your timing and budget context. The same form is used for careers introductions. On our Prototype to Product page, a shorter inquiry form asks for your email address and, optionally, a link to your app.
We use this information to read and respond to your message, to understand whether and how we can help, and to keep a record of the conversation. We store submissions in our AWS account and send the inquiry details, including your email address and message, to a private Slack channel so our team can read and respond. We may also keep a record of the conversation in our internal contact systems.
Contacting us does not subscribe you to our newsletter or any marketing list. We may reply by email, and we may follow up about the conversation you started.
Please do not send patient information, other health information, financial account details or other sensitive personal information through the form. If we need sensitive information for a project, we will agree an appropriate way to exchange it.
If you introduce yourself about working with us, we use what you send to consider you for current or future opportunities and to reply. If a specific role or hiring process follows, we will tell you what else we need and why.
How we use AI with messages
Our team may use AI models to help organize messages: for example, to recognize what a message is about and to suggest follow-up tasks. When we use these tools, the text of your message and your email address may be sent to AI model providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic and FriendliAI. These are examples of providers we may use, rather than an exhaustive list; the providers and routing services used may vary. They process it under their business terms. The AI does not reply to you or make decisions about you on its own; our team decides how to respond.
Booking a HiVE Shift conversation
You can open Calendly’s calendar within our HiVE Shift page or follow a link to Calendly, a scheduling service. The embedded calendar connects to Calendly only after you choose to open it; browsing the page alone does not load it. Calendly collects the details you enter there, such as your name, email address, chosen time and any answers you give, and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting. Calendly sets up a Zoom video meeting for the conversation and sends you the details, so Zoom also receives the meeting information. Calendly handles booking information for us; its privacy notice covers its own website, and Zoom’s privacy statement covers the meeting service.
Our newsletter
If you request a subscription, our AWS-hosted signup service saves your email address, IP address, request time and delivery status. We send a notification to our private Slack channel and forward your email address and IP address to Buttondown, which manages newsletter delivery and uses the IP address to help detect spam signups. If delivery fails temporarily, we retry it automatically. Blocked requests are held for our team to review. Your website signup is your opt-in. Once Buttondown processes it, your subscription starts without a separate email confirmation. Every newsletter includes a link to unsubscribe.
Buttondown records delivery information and, depending on the settings we choose, may record when an email is opened or a link is clicked. You can read how Buttondown handles subscriber information in its privacy policy.
When you unsubscribe, we stop sending the newsletter. We may keep a record that you unsubscribed so that you are not added again by mistake.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
We share information only as needed to operate this website and respond to you:
- Service providers that host and run the services described above: AWS for this website and our contact and newsletter forms, Buttondown for the newsletter, Calendly and Zoom for booked conversations, Google Workspace for our email, Slack for handling inquiries and signup notifications internally, Google Analytics for measuring website use, and the AI model providers described above.
- Our team. People at Twenty Ideas, and at our Thailand affiliate when they work with us, may see your message when they need to respond to it or help with the work you asked about.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we believe the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Twenty Ideas, our clients or others.
- Business changes. If Twenty Ideas is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Where information is processed
Twenty Ideas is based in the United States. Our service providers process information in the United States and may process it in other countries where they operate. If our Thailand affiliate helps respond to you, your information may be accessed from Thailand.
How long we keep information
- Contact messages, in our AWS account and our internal system, are kept while they are useful for the conversation and our business records. We do not yet delete them automatically after a set period. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
- Newsletter signup requests in AWS are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days. Deletion can take a few days, and backups follow their normal retention period. Slack notifications are kept with our internal records while useful. Buttondown keeps your subscription until you unsubscribe, along with the unsubscribe record described above.
- Technical logs for our form services are kept for 30 days. They do not contain your message or newsletter email address.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email dpo@twentyideas.com or write to us at the address above. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before acting on it. Some information may need to be kept, for example where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute; if so, we will tell you.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you further rights. We will respond as those laws require.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our own pages do not track visitors across websites. The optional Calendly calendar loads only when you choose to open it; Calendly’s privacy practices and cookie choices then apply. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics, and we treat the signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website and encrypted storage for contact messages. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through the form.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will explain it on this page.
